Our website has been rebuilt. The old one had served since 2018 and had reached the point where it described an organization somewhat different from the one we are now — the homepage still opened with an interim report from FY 2023, and several pages carried updates written during the pandemic.
The new site is organized around the three things we actually work on:
- Suicide and self-harm prevention, which is where most of our effort goes today, and which includes LifeBST — the K–12 behavioral skills framework whose monograph and Framework Manual are now complete.
- Finding Home, our homelessness prevention work. New assistance requests remain suspended, and the site now says so plainly, with a list of York County organizations that can help right now.
- Writing A New Story, our work with children carrying the aftermath of abuse — now joined by Leading With Love, an eight-session course for fathers.
News, from here on
The largest change is this page. Until now, updates went out as occasional newsletters and then sat still for months. This site is built to carry regular news, and that is what we intend to use it for — what is happening with the curriculum, what is happening at our events, and what is happening with the families we serve.
If you have been following our work through LifeBST.org or through the Mason-Dixon Ride for Life, this is the place where all of it comes together.
